PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES
Youth and/or Family Portraits- book a session to capture the precious years of childhood and the love of a family! My style for this type of photography is very casual and candid, and I like to follow the lead of your family or child. Ideally, I would tag along on a family outing or event and just be in the background! With over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, I am very comfortable around infants-teens, and also have a ten-year-old daughter of my own! I love capturing genuine emotions and am good at staying out of the way while still taking hundreds of photos! :)
Down-to-Earth Studio- book a session to capture the raw beauty of YOU and become a powerful subject in my nature portraits. This service is for adults only and is a little more involved than having a simple portrait taken! It is very unique, capturing the natural sensuality of your body, at any age, in the landscape we call home. Each person will have individualized time to meet with me and discuss the process and their comfort level before booking an outdoor session. Feel free to contact me with questions!
Pet Portraits- book a session to capture your loving furry (or feathered) friend! I have lived with dogs, cats, fish, small mammals and birds my whole life and feel comfortable around animals of any size. Outdoor or indoor options are available depending on your pet's personality and physcial capabilities.
GUIDED NATURE TOURS
Waterfalls- Hunt NH waterfalls! Now that Megan has spent almost two decades in the White Mountains of NH, she has located some of the most spectacular waterfalls NH has to offer! Depending on the season and desired location, tours can include 1-5 waterfalls. Photographers, nature enthusiasts and waterfall hunters would all enjoy a tour like this!
Rock Hunting- Rock enthusiasts will be amazed at the secret places Megan has discovered to look for minerals and gemstones in NH, mostly as glacial till in riverbeds. She has logged hundreds of hours searching for and analyzing rock hunting locations, learning a lot along the way! Find quartz, agate, serpentine, garnet, cintrine, fossils, petrifed wood and more- guaranteed!
TUTORING
Technology- Megan has worked as a technology teacher, integrator, tutor and librarian for all ages and has a lot of experience teaching technology skills, especially to those in the youngest and oldest age brackets :) No problem is too small and no question is too silly! Having patience, encouraging guided practice, exhibiting kindness and giving positive reinforcement are all vital to being a good teacher- especially for technology! No software or hardware is excluded, although Apple and Google products are Megan's specialty.
Collage Art- Megan has a unique collage style, often using her own photographs, watercolor paper or cut-outs from nature calendars to enhance a piece. She has been collaging for over 30 years and has had experience teaching children the art and process of collage. In addition, she has experience creating stop motion collage videos, a rare medium that can be a challenge to set up at first. All abilities welcome!
